In order to become a Teacher you have to have at least a
bachelors degree while some states require a masters degree. If

bachelors in education and then specialize in one specific
subject of your liking. Some schools offer a four year
bachelors of education or an alternative three year bachelors
degree in education in addition to one year post graduate
teacher education. You should also talk to other teachers and
volunteer in schools and classrooms to learn more about
teaching career.
Every state has different levels of credentials for teachers
based on age group and specialization. You should research your
states teaching qualification requirements and school district
requirements so that you are well planned for your future.
In order to become a teacher you must have to complete an
accredited teacher education program. There are countless
teacher education programs available and most programs take one
to two years to complete. After you have completed an education
program you are then required to pass teacher examinations. You
will either have to pass a state test or PRAXIS exam which are
graded on pass/fail basis and not on grades. Many school
require a GPA of above 3.0 as an undergraduate student in
addition to state test or PRAXIS exam which tests basic math,
reading and writing skills of candidates.

may also become administrators, supervisors or even principles
of schools however there is a very high competition for further
